Burns Supper
The Burns Supper was simply lovely.Haggis gets a bad rap, but is actually quite tasty. Truly a delight. Good food, good company, good poetry and a pipe. Oh and good whiskey. Tough to beat that!
I can't say I blame you, it is a bit of a stretch based on our usual diet! :) I think I liked it more because I expected it to taste...weirder. But it really was a nice spicy, sausage type of treat! If your up in Co next January you should drop in and try some! Even if you can't stomach the Haggis the rest of the celebration is fun for all! I hope you are well, good brother!
Brad, Thought I'd take a moment to tell you that I've enjoyed reading your blog. I just started my site today actually, and I thought there were no other pipe smokers out there. I'm glad I found another piper and follower of Christ. I look forward to getting to know you. Kind regards,
The pipe, the whiskey, poetry and company all sound like a great time but the haggis.... well that I just don't know.
